This watch has a Tourbillon style 23 jewel mechanical automatic movement. It has 2 unusual features, a opening on the dial face showing part of the internal movement and a large circular glass window on the reverse of the case showing the movement in detail.

This type of movement requires no battery and is powered by movement of the wearers wrist. When fully wound it will run for 36 hours but can also be manually wound if the power reserve is low.
